Acaricidal treatment and extermination of encephalitis and borreliosis ticks in Belarus
Ixodid ticks in Belarus are carriers of tick-borne encephalitis and Lyme disease (borreliosis). Peak tick activity occurs in April–June and August–October. Professional acaricidal yard treatment reduces the tick population by 95–99% and maintains a protective effect for up to 6–8 weeks. How the Treatment is Conducted
- Spraying method: Treatment of grass cover, shrubs, leaf litter, and the perimeter of the area with contact-action acaricidal products.
- Cold fogging (for large areas): ULV generator ensures uniform application of the product on tall grass and shrub crowns.
Safety and Recommendations
The applied acaricides are safe for lawns, ornamental plants, birds, and pets after drying (2–4 hours). It is recommended for people and animals to leave the area during the treatment and for 2–4 hours afterward. Optimal conditions are temperatures of +8°C and above, in dry weather. Upon request, we provide a sanitary and hygienic certificate for the product used.
